The Challenge

 

A prominent Air Force in the region has been using SAP as their backend system but found out that their MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) division inventory does not tally with the system. 

 

As the warehouse is far away from the division, authorized user has to retrieve a large quantity from the warehouse and stock inside their MRO division.  Inventory such as lamps, gaskets, disc brake, bolts & nuts, etc are stored based on batches in First-In-First-Out method.

 

Therefore, they are manually tracking the inventory, batch number and expiry date which is not productive and time consuming for the user.

 

 

The Solution

 

After meeting the air force personnel and seeing DrK Automated Inventory System – eLockers, they discovered the optimal way to optimize the inventory management automatically, efficiently and effectively.



Notification is configured to trigger event for any stock that are low or expired and auto-email to respective personnel for action. Daily, weekly or monthly inventory reports can be configured and send to warehouse for records.
